The countdown is on until we get to head back to beaches, fresh fish, and warfs. But in the meantime, there was no reason we couldn't bring at least a piece of that to us. That's right peeps, we had some fresh lobster to feed on.
Mercies they were good. The juices were flying, the shells cracking, the utensils flipping across the table. The butter was dripping, the vinegar pungeant. Bread was broken and belts undone.
The perfect way to ring in summer.
Thanks Jimmy!!!
My dad loves to tell the story of when I passed my drivers license test. Dad was waiting for me at Nehr's as I pulled up in the extended cab truck and learned my fate. I felt so elated, walked into the store and exclaimed that I was now a 'free woman'. I have never looked back! But rather embarked on a life long passion to explore the world.

Friends of ours are in Barcelona right now. They are going to love it!!! And I'm not going to lie, I am just a smidge or two jealous.
(Forgive the small pics - I don't have my original photos with me . . . I think you get the idea though . . . )
heading to iceland anytime soon
I found this post on A Cup of Jo, one of the fun blogs that I quite enjoy. It is a vide created by Inspired by Iceland to promote Icelandic tourism in light of the volcano. The scenery is incredible and the video is so fun.
